It's been a hectic couple of weeks...
My wife took a week long vacation to the hospital for surgery & recovery. Also, my little brother is getting deployed to Afghanistan and I'm heading to North Carolina to visit with him before he leaves.
As a result, the mix for "Dear Reason" still isn't done & I haven't made any progress on a video treatment for it or a live track to allow me to play songs live by myself.
Some stuff is moving along, though. Chemcoma played in Elkhart on Saturday night (4/23) and we showed off a few new songs that we've been working into the set. So far the new stuff consists of meaner versions of 80s tunes. Seriously, who covers Eddie Money? We do.
I've been transcribing songs this week to beef up our acoustic set. They are some meaner, hard rock songs that we've toned down.
You should probably come to a show & see this. :-)
The shows calendar at www.chrisjuneind.com will have all of the details on upcoming dates.
In other news, Chemcoma got a draft back of the "Something to Die for" video over the weekend. We made some suggestions, Adam did some more tweaking, & we have *what we believe to be* the final version of the video back now. Adam has to add some titles, we have to pay him, & then this thing will go live for everyone to check out. I might be partial, but I think it looks pretty cool. Hopefully next week's blog will have a link for you.
That's all for now. I'm off to North Carolina.
See you next week!
