I'm slowly regaining my drive after an energy-reducing weekend. Chemcoma played in Elkhart, IN at Halftimes Saturday night. The crowd was nuts and I reciprocated. We arrived back to the studio at about 7am to unload and the rest of the day consisted of me laying on the couch and watching football. It was really all I was capable of doing. :-)
The band is gearing up for a hometown show on Feb. 5th at the Lafayette Brewing Company as a part of Chris Voglund's long running 'Hoot Night' concert series. It should be a super good time. The atmosphere and sound in LBC is one of my favorites in Lafayette. After that, we'll switch gears to film the "Something to Die for" video.
I had a few setbacks on my new song last week and I'm really no further along than I was 2 weeks ago. Instead of being discouraged, I'll soldier on. It's going to get released.
Thanks to the Journal & Courier for giving a nod to my blog! Here's the link in case you missed it: http://www.jconline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2011101240301
